I’m trying to convince myself of this. It’s quite difficult.

Portland

  • Public transportation
  • Bev Elo And Spence
  • More Job opportunities
  • Shit to do at night
  • Living with my parents again would kinda hurt dating
  • I don’t run into too many people I know

Veneta

  • Tyler Byron Nelsoon and Kass
  • My Brother
  • My Mom and Dad
  • No Rent
  • Easier to focus on work with so little to do

Any ideas guys?

  • I know more people here
  • Money x1,000,000. There is such a thing as pursuing your dreams, but what are your dreams, your goals, your vision? Money doesn’t matter as much when you have a clear goal, but living off money that isn’t yours catches up to you. Just ask my parents. I’d say 40 years of good living in the future is greater than, at most, 5 more years of living like you have.
  • Where you are at in school
  • I’d also re-emphasize your parents. It may not be glamorous to live with them, but they will be the first to help you, as they have before, whereas others can only do so much to help you. A kind word helps, but it doesn’t put you through college, feed you, pay your medical bills or make sure you have a roof over your head.
  • What has Portland done for you? Are you happy that you lived there? Did you accomplish what you wanted to by going there? Is there anything you do there that really couldn’t be accomplished here?

I think the one thing to keep in mind is that it’s up to you, and your feelings about this are far greater than what any other person would say. There’s reasons for both, but a list of reasons is bullshit if you don’t think about what’s involved with each. I’ll support whatever you do, but don’t keep smashing your head against something that isn’t working. That’s insanity.
